QR code so your guests share wedding photos and videos
Print a QR code, stick it on menus and tables, and every photo and video your guests take ends up in one shared album. No chasing anyone on WhatsApp, no apps to install, no memories lost. Works on any modern phone: scan, tap, upload. Included free up to 80 guests with Planivia.
The problem it solves
At your wedding there are 100-200 people with phones taking incredible photos. The professional photographer covers the key moments, but the candid shots, dance-floor videos, friends\' jokes — all that stays on phones scattered across the country.
Three weeks later you\'re chasing 80 WhatsApp groups asking for photos. Half never send them. The other half send them compressed by WhatsApp (without original quality). Videos are too heavy and never arrive. Momentos solves this before the wedding, not after.
What\'s included
- Unique QR per wedding — auto-generated. Download in high resolution, customize design with your branding, print on menus, cards, photo booth or project on screen.
- No app, no signup — guest scans, browser opens, uploads. 2 taps. Works on iPhone, Android, old phones, anything with a camera.
- Photos and videos in high resolution — no WhatsApp-style compression. What the guest recorded is what you receive.
- 3 privacy modes — only couple sees everything, shared album among uploaders, or public album for all guests. Change anytime.
- Optional moderation — manual approval before publishing, or automatic with post-deletion. Block specific guests if needed.
- Bulk download — one ZIP with everything, in high resolution, organized by guest or by date. Download and store wherever.
- Optional identification — guests can sign their photos with their name (you get it linked) or upload anonymously if preferred.
How it works
- Activate Momentos on your wedding. From the dashboard, "Momentos" module. QR + public link auto-generated.
- Print or project the QR. Menus, tables, photo booth, screen, anywhere visible. Without this, guests don\'t know there\'s an album.
- Guests scan and upload. 2 taps from the native camera. Works on any modern phone.
- Download everything after. ZIP with high-res photos and uncompressed videos. Store wherever.
Ideas for showing the QR on the wedding day
- QR on each table\'s menu (everyone sees it when they sit down).
- Folded card next to each place setting with text "Upload your photos here".
- Giant QR projected on screen during dancing.
- QR at the photo booth — those taking photos scan it automatically.
- QR on the welcome bag or wedding favor.
- QR on the back of the printed invitation, so they test it before the day.
Frequently asked questions
How does the QR for guest photo upload work?
Planivia generates a unique QR for your wedding. You print it on menus, tables, photo booth or project it on a screen. Each guest scans with their phone camera, the browser opens and they upload photos and videos straight to the shared album. No apps to install, no passwords, no signups.
Do guests need an app to upload photos?
No. Works in any modern mobile browser (Safari, Chrome, Firefox). Guest scans the QR with the native camera, taps the link that appears, and the browser's camera opens directly. Uploading a photo takes 2 taps.
Can guests see each other's photos?
You decide. Three modes: (1) only the couple sees the full album, (2) shared album among everyone who uploaded content, (3) public album for all guests even if they didn't upload. Change mode anytime from your dashboard.
Is there a limit on photos or videos?
On the free plan up to 80 guests you can receive unlimited content. Videos up to 100 MB each (enough for 1-2 min clips in good quality). For extended storage or longer videos, the Wedding Pass (€35 one-time, adjusted per country) unlocks expanded capacity.
What happens to photos after the wedding? Can I download them?
Yes. Download all photos and videos in original high resolution from your dashboard, as a single ZIP or by guest folders. Photos stay available on Planivia while your account is active.
What if someone uploads something I don't want shown?
You can moderate the album: manually approve each photo/video before it's visible, or leave it on automatic and delete what you don't want after. You can also block a specific guest if they abuse it.
What's this feature called in Planivia?
In the app you'll see it as "Momentos" (Spanish for "Moments"). It's the collaborative album module with QR. You activate it from your wedding's main menu — the QR is auto-generated and the public link is ready to share.
